Genelia Deshmukh has always looked up to her fitness game. Here’s a look back at the time the Ved actor began her six-week fitness journey with trainer Dan Miles. Tell that she is on a mission to build a healthier, fitter bodyshe wrote a note about fitness as part of #GoGeneGo series.
She said, “Fitness is not just about the shine of it. It’s about all those emotions you go through before the trip, during the trip, and after the trip💪🏻 Fail or Fly but I’m taking this trip💚”
Shows tremendous power with her vigorous workoutsand pushed across the boundaries, she expressed how the fourth week was her toughest as she had to travel to Delhi and change her entire Mumbai regimen.
“Had to go out of town to shoot. So new gym, missing my family, don’t know if I can do it, shooting hectic and the list goes on. But where there’s a will, there’s a way! So I’m going to keep trying,” she wrote.
But don’t we all understand the irreplaceable value that family holds? Well, so does husband Ritesh Deshmukh.
The fifth week in Delhi had a surprise in store for the 35-year-old actress in which the I Willian actor flew to the capital with the children and left Genelia stunned by his gesture. Posting a video of the same, the duo was seen exercising together with double the willpower, setting huge pair of goals for netizens.
She wrote a heartfelt note saying: ‘Another week in Delhi. Away from all the comforts of my transformation – My gym, my trainer, my family. @riteishd sensed it and he came to Delhi with the kids and helped me train as well. What would I ever do without you my @riteishd 💚💚💚 Thank you for always being there.”
Initially “unsure, insecure and insecure,” Genelia revealed that she went from 59.4kg to 55.1kg. “About 6 weeks done. And it was a wonderful trip. From 59.4 kg to 55.1 kg. I started with a lot of doubts, a lot of uncertainty, but today, apart from achieving the goal, I feel much more confident, disciplined and much more structured as a person,” she said.
