“It changed everything,” Shay said Women’s Health. “I had a lot more energy; I don’t have five more cups of coffee. I may sound preachy when I talk about it, but it totally changed my year.”

During those four weeks, Shay and Stephanie had the help of celebrity trainer Kelsey Heenan. They often did a mix of cardio, strength and HIIT workouts, with moves like jump squats, arm raises, leg raises and squat presses.

When it comes to her eating, Shay is a firm believer in moderation. “Truthfully, I’m not one to believe in diets,” she said Women’s Health.

For breakfast, she looks for a glass of lemon water and a breakfast quesadilla with eggs, spinach, cheese and olive oil. In the afternoon she will eat soup with fruit. And for dinner she opts for a balance of starch with vegetables.

BRB, I have to try that ab workout!
