SoftBank-Backed Legal Tech Startup in Japan Readies US Debut (1)

SoftBank Group Corp.-supported Japanese startup LegalOn Technologies Inc. plans to launch its service in the US next year in an ambitious bid to crack the world’s largest market with its AI product for reviewing business contracts.

According to JP Biard, head of global strategy, a pre-release version of its software, with modifications tailored to US customers’ needs, will be introduced for free to a limited pool of users in January.
