Paragon Behavioral Health Services announced in August that it had moved its Wyomissing office to 925 Berkshire Blvd., an office complex behind Home Depot. An Open House will be held on December 16, from noon to 3 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Moving from a 1400 square foot space to a 5000 foot space allows for expanded behavioral health services. With the new space, Paragon will be able to offer additional group services for its autistic children, expand its VR program to Berks County and add more outpatient providers.
“When we started Paragon in December 2017, we never dreamed that we would be here today. And yet, here we are: Ready to put on our CAPES and get to work, to serve the underserved by looking after our caregivers,” said Dr. Kryn McClain, President, noted.
Paragon Behavioral Health Services started in December 2017 as a small, woman-owned behavioral health company with co-owners Kryn McClain and Paulina Colonna as the sole providers. Since 2017, the business has grown from one location to three in two states.
Today, Paragon offers a range of mental health services such as traditional outpatient therapy, autism diagnostic evaluations, immigration evaluations, and autism individual and group community services. “Where we really shine is in our philosophy of caring for the caregiver. Too often we have found ourselves working in the rut of healthcare where the providers are overworked, burned out and undervalued. We take our people-first philosophy to the core of our company because we believe if you take care of your people in healthcare, we can all work together to provide an improved quality of life for the people we serve,” said Dr. McClain noted.
In addition to its office in Wyomissing, PA, Paragon has offices in Ephrata, PA, and Olean, NY. For more information, visit https://www.paragonbhs.com/.
