Morgan Weighs in on Auto Insurance for WalletHub

University of Southern Mississippi (USM) School of Finance Professor of Practice Mike Morgan recently provided perspectives on identifying cheap auto insurance in Mississippi as well as the best auto insurance companies for WalletHub, a personal finance website. Morgan is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with approximately 20 years of experience working in executive roles at various technology firms, and was most recently CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and later President of Bomgar Corporation before joining USM as a Visiting Professor of Finance in 2014. He was promoted to Professor of Practice at the university in the fall of 2015. Morgan teaches courses in financial analysis (Entrepreneurial Finance), personal finance, corporate finance and short-term capital management.

In addition, Morgan serves as an advisor to technology startups regarding issues related to finance and participates in an angel investment network based in the Southeast. He is also a mentor in a startup program sponsored by Innovate Mississippi.
