Manchester-based Cook Little has merged with regional firm Sheehan Phinney – a move that significantly expands Sheehan’s corporate, transactional, employment and data privacy practices.
Jim Cook, one of the founders of Cook Little, said that “joining forces with Sheehan, and the talents and resources it offers, will be a real plus for our valued technology, startup, manufacturing, automotive, professional services, hospitality, non-profit and other clients, and presents a compelling case for others seeking to benefit from our combined business legal services.”

Walsh joins McLane Middleton
McLane Middleton has added Christopher J. Walsh to the firm as an associate in the Litigation Department. He focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and other commercial litigation.
Shaheen & Gordon adds two associates
The firm of Shaheen & Gordon has added attorneys Madeline Blackburn and Simone Washington to the firm. Both are alumni of the firm’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) summer internship program, when they spent five weeks working with lawyers on legal work and another five weeks with community organizations. Blackburn will be based out of the firm’s
Dover office and Washington will be based out of the Concord office.
Shilling a “Go to” attorney
McLane Middleton attorney Cameron G. Shilling has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 list of Go To Cybersecurity/Data Privacy Attorneys. The publication said that Shilling has “gained a wealth of experience in privacy and data security over the years” and “conducted nearly 100 comprehensive information privacy and security risk management projects for businesses in numerous industries.”
