– Kila LeGrand, director of nursing and clinical services at Sanford Aberdeen, has been named the new executive director for Sanford Aberdeen. In her new role, Kila will continue to grow and enhance service lines in the Aberdeen area while focusing heavily on Sanford’s commitment to patient care in northeastern South Dakota.

“I am excited to take this opportunity to lead Sanford Aberdeen and build on the already outstanding patient care and services we provide in northeast South Dakota,” said LeGrand. “The investment Sanford has made in northeastern South Dakota is a true testament to the care we provide to patients in Aberdeen and surrounding rural communities.”

A native of Timber Lake, South Dakota, LeGrand graduated from Presentation College in Aberdeen with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She later attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion where she received her master’s degree in business administration.
