WARREN, New Jersey – January 24, 2023 – Everest Insurance®the primary insurance division of Everest Re Group, Ltd. (NYSE: RE), it announced today Timothy Powell joined the company as head of financial lines. Based in LondonTimothy will report Adam Cliffordco-leader of Everest Insurance International®. He succeeds Christian Colombera who took on the role of Managing Director of Australia & Head of the Pacific regionpending regulatory approval.

Timothy brings more than three decades of experience to Everest’s Financial Lines portfolio. He will be responsible for overseeing underwriting, market engagement and treaty purchases for the company’s international financial lines clients. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Financial Lines & Cyber for Zurich Insurance Group, where he successfully developed the Financial Lines & Cyber portfolios. Prior to this, Timothy held a variety of leadership roles of increasing responsibility AXA XL, Allianz Australia Insurance Limited and AIG.
