Meal prep for your cleanse week

We asked one of our resident Meal Prep Queens, Sascha Farley, for some of her top tips to help all moms prepare and get ready for cleanse week.

Sascha said, “Preparing for a cleanse week can help you stay on track and save money, it also takes the guesswork out of your week and solves the issue of being hungry fast!”

Sascha’s tips:

1. Find a type of preparation that works for you!

  • Some families may prepare on a Sunday for the full week ahead
  • Others prepare every night by doubling dinner every night / organizing or cooking snacks
  • Daily preparation also helps, setting aside some time each morning to serve snacks, perhaps making a smoothie or quick salad
  • Batch-cook snacks here and there or in free time everything comes together, this is another effective way!

Whatever works will be most effective, don’t try to do something that doesn’t fit your lifestyle.

2. You can adjust the cleansing plan to suit you better or to repeat meals – for example you can prepare a big batch of egg and cheese brekkie cups and eat them every morning!

3. Keep snacks simple, fruit and nuts etc – divide it into small bags that are ready to grab and go

4. Pre-chop vegetables – which would be good for the Nutty Crunch Lettuce Wraps!

5. Lemon water is a great drink to drink while cleansing so chop up those lemons ready to go! Read why lemon water is great for helping you lose weight.

6. Choose things that are easy to do at night – the Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl & Beetroot Salad is easy to whip up if you’re feeling disorganized.

7. It is important to still eat your calories while doing the 7 day cleanse so have some extra snacks on hand like boiled eggs, biscuits and dip or make extra of the snacks like the belly-blowing bliss balls.

Select FOOD in the lower right corner.

Then click on the Challenge Round option here

Select the month in the upper right corner next to the current 28-day weight loss challenge round

There you can adjust your meal plan as usual.

The meal plan will display as normal, ready for you to prepare yourself for the week ahead.
