In 2022 alone, we’ve watched NASA smash into an asteroid to shift its orbit, lost our minds over the first-ever look at a massive Milky Way black hole, and been treated to the first images from the James Webb Space Telescope. Last year, NASA Perseverance landed on Mars, and we saw Captain Kirk “return” to space (at the age of 90).
